My name is Vernon Fourie. I am a former Graphic Design Lecturer turned Artist, Illustrator and Cartoonist.
I Love Pencils and Sushi, am Passionate about Cartoon History, Gardening and Christmas, and my Heroes are Superman and Sheriff Woody. I also may or may not have an unnatural Obsession with the Colour Yellow.

Meet ToonSchool's Mascot, Kocora.
Its original, clever and imaginative Backstory was dreamed up by old-ToonSchooler, Sean Ballack, during a Competition to find a Name for the Mascot.
Far, far away, yet close enough to touch, there is a place called Sepirin (an Anagram for Inspire), a place so Mysterious that very few Humans are aware of its existence.
Sepirin is the Home of the Kocos, a Family of Mascots that hatches from Cocoons. The Millions of Cocoons can remain dormant for Decades and only come Alive and Emerge through Inspiration and Imagination.
The most recent Kocos hatchling is Kocora, a young Mascot that has found its way to ToonSchool. Its Powers and Strengths include Happiness, Imagination, Individuality, Inspiration, the Ability to Excite and the Ability to Morph.
Great Backstory! It was well-thought-out and beautifully aligned with the Vision I had for the Character itself.
